Corey Small and Cory Conway had five-point nights to lead the Victoria Shamrocks to a 17-3 route over the Burnaby Lakers Friday in Victoria.
The Shamrocks lead the best-of-seven Western Lacrosse Association semifinal 3-0.
Small, with his three goals and two assists, and Conway, with his two goals and three assists, were among 15 Shamrocks to record points. Jessie KIng and Rhys Duch had one goal and three assists and Scott Ranger supplied two goals and two assists.
The teams combined for 107 minutes in penalties, with 63 going to Burnaby.
The second-seeded Shamrocks and third-seeded Lakers get back at it Sunday in Burnaby.
The WLA’s other semi, resumes tonight, wit the top-seeded Langley Thunder carrying a 3-0 lead into a road tilt with the Coquitlam Adanacs.
